(Here’s the corporate-approved headhunter-bait writeup. For a more interesting read, see this entry…)
In May 2007, I earned my MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership from the University of Houston. The courses I found most engaging were those dealing with leadership, employee development, organizational optimization, and process improvement… in short, I like to learn new things, solve problems and help other people grow.
The bulk of my experience is in marketing communications including collateral production, global trade show organization, advertising, promotions, branding and identity, and leveraging emerging technologies to meet both internal and external corporate communication goals. In addition, I have experience in project management and information technology.
This broad base of experience allows me to quickly adapt to new situations and roles. I’m most engaged when exploring a new area or learning a new skill. One of the hardest parts of my professional life has been choosing something to specialize in, though looking back it’s become apparent to me that finding creative and effective ways to communicate information has been the underlying current guiding nearly everything I do.
In December 2007, my wife received a promotion with her employer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We now live downtown and are enjoying the different lifestyle an urban environment provides.
